Kennedy Shirley Ballinger Absent: Mayor Baker The City Manager recommended that the bid of the Southwest Sewer Tool Co. to furnish a rodding machine for the sewer plant as requested in Bid No. 53.24 in the total amount of $4,179.05 be accepted. Commissioner Bunker moved the recommendation of the City Manager be approved and Bid No. 53.24 be awarded to the Southwest Sewer Tool Company. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Mayor Baker. Commissioner Jarrett moved that the award of Bid No. 53.25 for the installation of a 4" water line to the sewer plant be held in abeyance until August 19* 1953. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote? Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp and His Honor Mayor Pro Tem Whipple voting aye; noes, none. Absent? Mayor Baker. 8-10-53
