? L o b Angeles# February 10# 1948 020-83 Mr. Frank Strong^^LA Have the following from Asst Supt Groome at Las Mr. J. P, Mack - LA Vegas under date of February 6 th? "On inspection of the Las Vegas terminal for surplus materials by Car Foreman Taylor# Storekeeper Crawford and myself yesterday# noticed a large quantity of new 10" and 12" cast Iron pipe of various lengths on a store dock la the vlolalty of the roundhouse. Also considerable translte pipe of the same diameter. "Storekeeper Crawford advises that he knows of no projected work which will require this pipe# and that same is being held by Mr. Frank Strong. Believe it would be well to contact Mr. Strong and If there is no immediate use for this pipe# same should be returned to Stores Department for proper credit." Please advise. D. F* Wengert.
