On motion duly made and seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong and Secretary in executing agreement, C. L. D. No. 3006, dated February 28, 1940, between Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad Company, Union Pacific Railroad Company and Las. Vegas Land and Water. Company, collectively called "Land Company”, and Furniture Manufacturers' Association, Inc., Licensee, granting license and permission to use parcel of land adjacent to 2155 East 7th Street, Los Angeles, California, for parking purposes, for term of five years, commencing February 28, 1940; subject to termination at any time by the Land Company upon ten days' written notice to Licensee; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of President in executing agreement, Contract Audit No. 9904-1, dated March 15, 1940, between LVL&WCo., Lessor, and The Rath Packing Company, Lessee, covering lease of additional land and construction thereon by Lessor of the following improvements to be made by Lessor to meat packinghouse and garage, located at First Street and Mission Road, now under lease to said Lessee, covered by lease Audit No. 9904, dated May 17, 1938; (a) 1 - Ladies' toilet and ment of men's toile tr esatn dr oionms,t alelnaltairogne of additional incidental facilities; • 2 - Installation of sump pump; 3 - Application of cement plaster to walls; at estimated cost of £.5000. - 6-
