I agree.Las Vegas, Nevada, April 1, 1923. Governor J. G. Scrugham, Carson City, Nevada. My dear. Governor: ( Referring back to your letter to me under date of August 14th, 1922 and later on, our personal conversation w^ien you were here, in reference to water supply of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company. 1 beg to herewith enclose you copy of letter received from Mayor Pro.Tem. Dentner under date of March 20th and my reply to the same, which fully explains the exact situation of the Las Vegas Land and Water Company’s supply of water and which has been approved by President of our Company, Mr. 1. E. Calvin. As you undoubtedly know, there are many lots in Clark’s Las Vegas Townsite as yet unimproved and they are making demands on us daily for new water tap? and, as these are supplied, it is a source of another drain on our supply and there is positively no doubt but that our water supply is only sufficient for the demands now made upon it. Hoping that this will fully explain and that you may appreciate our position in the matter, I remain ,j: Very,Sincerely ypurs, B7H -*?' Vice-President & Agent. I
