Mr.Smith states to me an* has also shown me sis letter to you dated September 8th, to the effeot that he dia not approve of your going' to Salt lake, as there was no partr- onlar reason why you should go at that time, Also, that things at the ranch were not in condition which you could consistently leave to some one else to looh after.
