    ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 200-12 Public Hearing on Assessment Roll NO. 27-1953 Shirley Ballinger City Clerk ACCEPTANCE OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor, Commissioners, City Manager, Assistant City Manager and City Attorney of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, do hereby admit due service of the foregoing notice of Special Meeting: C.D. CANNON_________ Commissioner City Attorney WILLIAM PECCOLE_________ DORA LORD________________ Commissioner Assistant City Manager Las Vegas, Nevada May 13, 1953 A special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, held this 13th day of May, 1953 was called to order at the hour of 8:00 P.M.. by His Honor Mayor C.D. Baker with the following members present: Mayor C.D. Baker Commissioner Wendell Bunker Commissioner Reed Whipple City Attorney Howard W. Cannon City Manager C.W. Shelley Asst. City Mgr. Dora Lord City Clerk Shirley Ballinger Absent: Commissioner Rex A. Jarrett Commissioner William Peccole The Mayor announced that this was the time and place designated for the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada to meet and review the assessments and hear any objections to said assessments which may be made on the proposed im­provements in Assessment District No. 200-12, as shown on Assessment Roll. No. 27-1953. The Mayor then asked if any written objections concerning said Assessment Roll had been filed in the office of the City Clerk. The City Clerk answered there had been no objections filed in her office prior to said meeting, and filed a certifi­cate with the Board to that effect. The Mayor then publicly asked if anyone desired to make any objections, suggestions or comments, or raise any question concerning said special assessment roll. There were no objections, suggestions or comments voiced. Commissioner Whipple moved that the following Assessment Roll No. 27-1953 for im­provement installation in Assessment District No. 200-12 be confirmed, and the Comptroller authorized to notify those persons appearing on this roll that they have ten days in which to pay this assessment in cash: ASSESSED FINAL LOT OWNERSHIP_____________________VALUATION_______ COST Part NE¼ SE¼ SW¼ Cornwall, C.
