I agree.NATIONAL METER COMPANY T ;LOS ANGELES \ IONA m Feb. 30, 1930 Mr. Walter R. Bracken - #2 Our L. H. Nash Disc Meter gives very fine results as far as disc meters are concerned but it does not have the long life nor the sustained accuracy as that enjoyed by the Empire Oscillating Piston Water Meter. Your Mr. Coffey has purchased a number of our Empire oil meters and we have yet to sell this higher priced meter to customers who have developed any serious trouble. We would wish to know whether or not you would expect any serious freezing conditions at Yermo. If you do have actual frozen water pipes, which I do not believe you do, you would use the type 9 Empire Meter but we sell all thru this country the type 11 Empire meter in the 5/8x3/4 and 1" sizes to the trade and the type 8 Empire Meters in the 1-1/2 and 2" sizes. We are sending under separate cover a price list and catalogs on the Empire and Nash meters. Thanking you for this inquiry and hoping to be favored with your valuable business, we are Very truly yours, NATIONAL METER COMPANY By
