Lear Sir:- Answering your inquiry of May 1710 in reference to propose7 well to "be drilled 'in 77c shop yards, I "beg to advise that Judging from the throe nearest wells which are within a triangle, that we should have to go possibly 700 to 750 ft;, for the Aider strata of water# - 0" 70 ? 'Jw O .-O, 0 ? .. . - at 300 ft. hut went to the 620 ft* level and got a well with a pressure of 21 lbs. She Buol well in the wost went to a depth of 285 ft* encountering the first strata of water and they went on. down to 602 ft. where they have one of the largest flows of any well in the Valley, with pressure of 20 lbs. She other well of the triangle, which is the Conley well Just east of our present townaite a few hloohs drilled down.to W5 ft. and he has a-pressure of 60 lbs. so as wo are in the center of the triangle I would Judge to got a good flow of water and heavy pressure we would have to drill from 700 to 750 ft# , She Sund well in the south enoountered water Tours truly “ : 7-17 r .
