Bracken: Referring to applications which we have received recently from outside water companies at Las Vegas for purchase of water to serve new subdivisions being opened up: The following general terms have been approved for inclusion in agreements covering such purchases: Excess water to be sold at eight cents per one hundred cubic feet. Meter or meters and connections to be installed at expense of buyer but under supervision of Land and Water Company* Line of buyer to be not less than four inch cast iron pipe of approved standard. Buyer to own pipe line and meter. Provision to be included exempting Land and Water Company from consideration as public utility. Buyer to secure all necessary permits from public authorities. Agreement subject to termination upon six months notice. It is, of course, to be understood that each application is to be given consideration here as presented and that no commitments are to be made until approval of this office has been secured. cc Mr. A.
