    August 33, 1934 Referring to alleged water ;e,Las Yagas middle of July this year. As you are aware when we finally got some action from city authorities and stopped waste of water at Las Vegas we were successful within a short time filling our settling basin and reservoir,and quieting the rumor of alleged shortage. Further investigation and development reveals however that in July, 1931 we had available at Las Vegas: A decrease of 1,545,601 gals, pef day, or 36.51$. There is aspring known as "Middle Spring" at Las Vegas which in 1931 was flowing 440,659 gallons per day; in July, 1934, 331,549 gallons per day. The total water from all sources in July 1931 was 6,271,833 gallons per day; in July 1934, 4,617,131, or a decrease of 1,654,711 gallons per day or 36.4$. is 7500 and with an average of 4,385,573 gallons per day, the daily consumption per capita would be 571,4 gallon®.
