Donn Arden's Hallelujah Hollywood," the most spectacular of all extravaganzas, will be unveiled in a formal opening Friday, April 19th at the MGM Grand Hotel. The announcement of the opening of the spectacular was made by MGM Grand president Alvin Benedict Arden, the world's foremost producer of nightclub extravaganzas, has created in Hallelujah Hollywood a crackling show version of just about everything musical MGM turned out in celluloid. The show, with a cast of 120, including many "beautiful showgirls and dancers, will be staged in the appropriately named Ziegfeld Room of the sprawling new resort hotel.
