Dear s ir : Replying to your telegram 0231 o f July 8, I hand you herewith a copy o f part o f my f i l e on this subject, a l l o f which is self-explanatory* Mr®, Mink moved on ground other than that on proposed lease o f Thomas rwCaaova, b u ilt an unsightly ©hack# and I trie d to explain to her that she would have to move back on the ground which would be under day to day lease, but as ?he had paid Ganova ground rental I dropped the matter u n til X could servo her with leg al notice as a squatter to vacate our ground at once* Caneva could not f u l f i l l any part o f his agreement and has l e f t the country, disposing o f what interest he had, to Hr, J, Warren Woodard who is a reputable citiaen with more than s u fficient means to go on with the agreement, and he signed the day to day leas©, depositing One hundred ($100*00) dollars monthly in advance, 1 urn on'losing a copy o f my le t t e r even date to Hr* Knickerbocker with reference to leasing to Hr* Woodard acreage intended fo r lease to Canova, and in taking this action we have an annual rental o f Twelve Hundred ($1200.00) Dollars,and a p o sitive protection from squatters* I would resp ectfu lly r e fe r to your le t t e r o f February 26,1929 to me with reference to subdivision o f this acreage, and we are now protecting same from squatters by day to day leasing, with th ir ty (30) day notice to Lessor to vacate, 1 w ill await receipt o f you rletter before submitting to Mr, Knickerbocker the executed lease of Mr, Woodard which I now hold* Yours truly, Enclosures.
