I agree.ou%- Judge Becomes Lawn Watering Expert- Municipal J u d g e Walter Richards is becoming- an expert on the art of lawn watering these days.' He probably will become more proficient • as the summer wears on. - Wf his first bit of experting this morning, the judge admonished Ray Merrill, 1428 Norman avenue, after the latter was called into court for wasting water. Water Inspector J. W- t Adams cited Merrill Monday for allowing water from a I sloping lawn to trickle into the street. Merrill explained that he didn’t think he was wasting water because he had only run i ; the sprinklers for 15 to 20 min- | utes and it had only begun to | run in the street when the in- spector came by. He added he ; didn’t know what he could do to keep the water from running off the slope. } Richards ordered 'him to water tjie sloping portion of the lawn by hand to control runoff and let-him go with a i warning. a V h .tfj IJ n c b ti E C c Vi a i $
