RESOLUTION ACCEPTING EASEMENT John H. Clark EFFLUENT DITCH Temporary Crossing CURB CUT Cliff's 5th Street Market RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUITCLAIM DEED Donald Zak RESOLUTION ACCEPTING EASEMENT Las Vegas Valley Water District RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUITCLAIM DEED Mary Levengood Commissioner Sharp moved that a public hearing he held on February 16, 1955. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bunker. At this time the Board considered the acceptance of an easement for Spencer Street Storm Drain, executed by John H. Clark and Lois Clark, dated January 17, 1955. On motion of Commissioner Jarrett, seconded by Commissioner Whipple, and duly carried, the following resolution is adopted and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 2nd day of February, 1955, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the right of way deed for an easement, dated the 17th day of January, 1955, executed by John H. Clark and Lois Clark, to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes and intentions as therein set forth; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and filed in the records of this Board. At this time the Board considered the temporary crossing of effluent ditch. Mr. George Wade, City Engineer, recommended this crossing subject to the securing of an easement along 25th street. Commissioner Sharp moved approval of this crossing subject to the above conditions. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Bunker. The Board took no action on this matter as the curb cut was less than 32 feet, and the Director of Public Works can approve the application. At this time the Board considered the acceptance of a quitclaim deed from Donald and Virginia Zak for the widening of 25th Street, deed dated January 19, 1955* On motion of Commissioner Jarrett, seconded by Commissioner Sharp, and duly carried, the following resolution is adopted and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 2nd day of February, 1955; by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the quitclaim deed for the widening of 25th Street, dated the 19th day of January, 1955; executed by Donald and Virginia Zak, to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes and intentions as therein set forth; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and filed in the records of this Board. At this time the Board considered the acceptance of an easement from the Las Vegas Valley Water District for sewer purposes, deed dated January 17, 1955* On motion of Commissioner Jarrett, seconded by Commissioner Sharp, and duly carried, the following resolution is adopted and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 2nd day of February, 1955, by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the right of way deed for an easement, dated the 17th day of January, 1955; executed by the Las Vegas Valley Water District, to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes and intentions as therein set forth; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be attached to said deed, and that the same be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and filed in the records of this Board. At this time the Board considered the acceptance of a quitclaim deed from Mary Levengood, dated January 12, 1955; for an alley south of Moss Tract No. 4. On motion of Commissioner Jarrett, seconded by Commissioner Sharp, and duly carried, the following resolution is adopted and order made: BE IT RESOLVED, this 2nd day of February, 1955; by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, that the quitclaim deed for an alley south of Moss Tract No. 4, dated the 12th day of January, 1955; executed by Mary Levengood, to the City of Las Vegas, County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the real property described therein be, and is hereby accepted, for the purposes and intentions as therein set forth; and, 2-2-55
