Prater) Referring to your letter July 28th, file WO-2029 concerning work performed on Well Ho. 10, Las Vegas, by Lan- Wells Co., as per their invoice Mo. 14611,dated May 31, 1944, in amount $2,459.66 s production. Subsequently, the volume of water produced de­creased, and in order to Increase the production, it was decided to perforate the existing casing in the water bearing strata which had been cemented in the hole. The work per­formed consisted of removing the existing pump from the well and lowering into the casing a gun designed to dis­charge 9/16” bullets as the gun is lowered, which pierce the casing and cement, allowing the water to enter the cas-lng.
