ITom what we know of the artesian supply, such a policy would react to the detriment of the City, as there unquestionably is not sufficient water in the artesian channel to adequately supply both the Glty and applicants outside the Oily, for that reason, we oould not deliver water to you in the olty limits for use outside the oity limits, 1 am sorry I could not be of more service, but t am sure you will recognise the fairness of our position* Very truly yours.
