    % at approximate cost of $14,970; Company, upon completion by Contractor of 86 dwelling houses in said Tract and certain other conditions, to pay Contractor actual cost of labor and material used in laying and constructing said pipe lines, not exceeding the sum of $14,970; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing letter-agreement, C.L.D. No. 4237, dated July 1, 1942, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company and Hanawalt Brothers, General Contractors, covering the construction of a second-story office addition, approximately 15’ x 60’, and a-women’s rest room enclosure, approximately 7» x 8 ’, in pack­ing house located at First and Eleanor Streets; Pomona, Calif­ornia, under lease to Orange Belt Fruit Distributors; con­sideration $3,256, plus actual cost to Contractor of surety bond; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, approved and con­firmed. On motion duly seconded, it was •RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Ashby and Assistant Secretary Rigdon in executing agreement, NLD 873, dated July 3, 1942, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, called ’’Company", and Ernest Allen, called "Contract­or", covering construction and laying by Contractor of ap­proximately 1850 feet of cast iron water mains, laterals and service lines to and within Mayfair Tract No. 5, Las Vegas, Nevada, connecting same with Company's water main on Bruce Street, at approximate cost of $4,350; Company, upon completion -22-
