Dear Sir:For your information, I enclose herewith copy of the following reports from Las Vegas Ranch for the month of May, 1904: Cash Statement, Balance Sheet,Account Current with Los Angeles office. From the first you will notice that there was cash on hand May 1st, $200., receipts from the store, hotel and from beef, fruit and hay sold $441.67, of which $206.66 was remitted to Los Angeles, leaving a balance of $200. on hand after making cash payments for certain supplies for the hotel and store and a portion of the wages.From the balance sheet you will see that the pay roll including that which was paid by cash, amounted to $550.65, the supplies purchased amounted to $388.16, while the receipts amounted to $441.67, or $108.98 less than the total pay roll.Yours truly,encH.I.
