Folger, Superintendent Dear S i r : The Commanding General has directed me t o request your assistance i n obtaining for t h i s headquarters i n f o r - mation needed f o r the completion of our f i l e s on important towns w i t h i n t h i s headquarters' zone of r e s p o n s i b i l i t y . I t i s desired to obtain a map of the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, on which i s imposed the potable water f a c i l i t i e s including reservoirs, source, intakes, standpipes, and pumping stations. Mr. C. G. Petrie, the City Engineer, has been very cooperative by f u r n i s h i n g us w i t h information that i s a v a i l - able i n his o f f i c e , he was however, unable to supply us w i t h the needed water f a c i l i t y data, hence t h i s appeal to you. Should t h i s request involve a charge, n o t i f i c a t i o n i n advance would be appreciated. Correspondence should be addressed t o t h i s headquarters, Attention: AM ENG-0.
