Los Angeles, April 30, 1952 4787-11-104 Mr. R. M, Sutton: (cc - Mr. V. H. Hulslzer Mr. W, H. Johnson) I believe that the exhibits which you have sent me with your letters of February 26, 1952, and as revised by the exhibits sent me with your letter of April 16, 1952, will be sufficient to show the results of operation for the year 1951 of the production facilities of the Railroad Company and the distribution facilities of the LVL&W Company at Las Vegas. It is my purpose to have these exhibits introduced at the court hearing by a representative of your department. I am wondering if you have retained additional copies of these exhibits. I am afraid that after I give out copies to various persons who will be working with these exhibits and who will be Interested in them, I shall not have sufficient copies for the trial. If you have them, I should like to receive ten additional copies, and with respect to future exhibits made by you I think it would be advisable to send me 25 copies. I think that the witness from your department should also be prepared with exhibits which will bring down to a current date the results of operation in the year 1952. I presume that the latest period which would be available at a hearing on June 30, 1952, would be theperiod ending April 30, 1952. I should appreciate it if you would prepare as soon as information is available: 1. A statement showing the results of operation of the Water Company for the first four months of 1952 as compared with the first four months of 1951. It appears to me that that would be the best way in which to show any increase in operating cost which has occurred in the current year. If you have any different ideas, please let me know. This exhibit should be prepared in the same general form as the exhibits which you have prepared for the year 1951*
