    Education 4237-1892 mm 29874 WASHINGTON, February 26,1892. S. M. McGowan, Supt. Indian School, Fort Mojave, Arizona. Sir:- Replying to your communication of the 28th ultimo, wherein you request that the position of Carpenter at the Fort Mojave Ind­ian Industrial School at a salary of $840 per annum be abolished, and that in lieu thereof the position of Industrial Teacher be created at the same salary, that the necessary farm <Work may be accomplished to insure good crops, etc., the reasons as set forth in your aforesaid letter, you are hereby advised that the Honorable the secretary of the Interior has granted you authority to make the hereinbefore mentioned change in your employe force, to date from and take effect March 1, 1892. You may submit the relief of the present Carpenter and the nomination of a suitable person for the position of Industrial Teacher upon the proper blank for official consideration. fMefer. m reply iokjhe^liowmg „• , J (K)
