    Section 5. The City Clerk and Clerk of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas shall cause this ordinance No. 383 to be published once a week for two successive weeks immediately following its first reading and adoption, in the Las Vegas Review Journal, a daily newspaper published in the City of Las Vegas. Cragin Mayor (SEAL) ATTEST: S/ Shirley Ballinger____________ City Clerk The above and foregoing Ordinance was first proposed and read by title to the Board of Commissioners on the 27th day of May, 1949, and referred to the following committee composed of Commissioners Moore and Whipple for recommendation; thereafter the said committee reported favorably on said Ordinance on the 27th day of May, 1949, which was the special meeting of said Board of Commissioners; that at said special meeting held on the 27th day of May, 1949, the proposed ordinance was read in full to the Board of City Commissioners as first introduced and adopted by the following vote: Voting "AXE": Commissioners Baskin. Clark. Moore, Whipple and His Honor Mayor Cragin Voting "NAY": None. Absent: None. APPROVED: S/ E. W. Cragin Mayor ATTEST: S/ Shirley Ballinger City Clerk NOTICE SANITARY SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT # 200-0 Notice is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, hereby declares its determination to install a sanitary sewer on 16th Street from Marlin Avenue to Bonanza Road; on Bruce Street from Martin Avenue to Bonanza Road; on Bonanza Road from 16th Street to Bruce Street; in alley between Linden Avenue and Walnut Avenue from Bruce Street to 19th Street; on 19th Street from alley between Linden Avenue and Walnut Avenue to alley between Walnut Avenue and Mesquite Avenue; in alley between Walnut Avenue and Mesquite Avenue from 19th Street to 21st Street. The cost and expense of making the improvements of said district described in the foregoing paragraph shall be paid by special assessment to be made according to the benefits against the owners and upon the taxable lots and premises embraced within the special assessment district as created by Ordinance #383. Diagrams and estimates of cost are on file in the office of the City Clerk. The Board has set thursday, the 16th day of June, 1949, at the hour of 3:00 P.M., as the time for the hearing of suggestions and/or objections that may be made by parties in interest to the proposed improvements, said hearing to be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at the corner of Stewart and Fifth Streets, in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada. Dick Lochrie being first duly sworn, deposes and says: That he is foreman of the LAS VEGAS EVENING REVIEW JOURNAL, a daily newspaper of general circulation, printed and published at Las Vegas, in the County of Clark, State of Nevada, and that the attached was continuously published in said newspaper for a period of two weeks from May 31. 1949 to June 7, 1949 inclusive, being the issues of said newspaper for the following dates, to-wit: May 31; June 7. 1949 .
