    \ For this water facility the Railroad Company expended For well For reservoir and settling basin For pipe lines Total $ 6,330.23 68,686*63 92,20k*l6 jl67.221.31 (Water Permit #7201) The Las Vegas Land and Water Company appropriated 2.3 second feet of this by the same diversion and into the same reservoir as used by the Railroad Gompany. Water is then drawn from reservoir for municipal supply and domestic use thru same pipe lines from which main pipe lines 10”, 8'*, 6”, and wood and cast iron mains distribute water for munic­ipal supply and domestic use to the city of Las Vegas served by lines owned and operated by the Las Vegas Land and Water Company. For this water facility the applicant expended For pipe line in distribution system $8lt,195.20 (Water Permit ---------- #7201) The Las Vegas Land and Water Company appropriated 1,88 second feet of the diminished flow or 6.68 second feet from the same source diverted into settling basin and thence into Las Vegas Creek thru which it was carried to the fields for irrigation purposes. All of the water flowing from said well was being beneficially used and owing to fluctuations in Railroad use and municipal use wclaimant claims the right to use all water not used at various times under the above use”. For this system the applicant expended For ditching and distribution facilities $I±,000 (Water Permit ------ #7201) From the artesian well source, Mafter satisfying the Railroad’s appropriation and the Las Vegas Land and Water Company’s appropriation, for municipal use, the balance was used for irrigation. Those facilities thus created , which are joint in nature, are covered by the contracts -6-
