we stay, and wonder, until the time is right.
or we become as the leaves fallen from their
towers, scattered, tumbled, too soon made
weary by the demands of impulse.
up in the air, on tree branches, they seem
guileless...naive...unfree. are we not as
they'? watching for high windows,- leaning;
whispering to the forces of a world of all
motion, "come for me "

A vacant hall. New incohate. Yet, when
filled with written knowledge, a brilliant
embodiment of a vital necessity; sustenance
to the awakening mind.
Emptiness. Uselessness. Here, it is all too
glaring — meaningless — giving nothing,
but perhaps the thought of that which is
to come. Wait. Transition.

The myriad shapes of a University converge, each
with its own concept to disclose, each with a part
of the vast resource which is organized knowledge
kept within its walls. With every new building,
the face of the University becomes discernable;
its features become sharp, distinct.

Gertrude he matchmaker
Thornton Wilder's warm, funny, and frenzied tale
of marriage mongering delighted Las Vegas theatre
goers who crowded into the Little Theatre to
enjoy the spring play. The Matchmaker, under
Jerry Crawford's trained insight and able direction,
moved with polish and style through wild mazes
of complicated hilarity. A fine farce, colorfully
decorated by Patricia Crawford's paint brush and
needle, The Matchmaker brought praise to the
drama department at N.S.U. and to the sixteen
actors involved.
