PLANKING AND ZONING A report from the City Attorney concerning violation of the planning and VIOLATIONS zoning ordinance by Richard Toleno was read to the Board at this time. Richard Toleno Commissioners Peccole and Whipple were appointed to investigate this matter and report back to the Board. John Stohr A report from the City Attorney concerning violation of the planning and zoning ordinance by John H. Stohr, 1516 Hastings Avenue was read to the Board at this time. Commissioners Peccole and Whipple were appointed to investigate this matter and report back to the Board. TAXI APPLICATIONS Commissioner Bunker moved the following applications for license for taxi- Replacement cabs, the same being replacement vehicles, be approved: Vehicles Checker Cab Co. D. C. Haight 1 taxi Lucky Cab Co. Dan Smith 2 taxis Jack's Radio Taxi Atlas Fisher 1 taxi Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. GAMING APPLICATIONS Commissioner Bunker moved the following applications for renewal of gaming Renewals license for the fourth quarter of 1951 be approved: ESQUIRE BAR 120 South 2nd Thos. J. Changes Commissioner Whipple moved the application of C. C. McGovern and Del Barkhuff, Daily Bar, 1525 Fremont for license for one slot machine for the fourth quarter of 1951 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Commissioner Peccole moved the application of Wong Wing, Wing's Cafe, 12 Fremont for license for three slot machines for the fourth quarter of 1951 be granted. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. New 49er Club At this time George Franklin Jr. representing J. S. Pappas and George D. Zouganilas in their application for gaming license at the 49er Club, 109 Fremont for the fourth quarter of 1951, appeared before the Board. Commissioner Peccole moved the application of J. S. Pappas and George D. Zouganilas, 49er Club, 109 Fremont for license for 60 slot machines, 2 Craps, 2 "21", 1 Poker, and 1 Faro Bank for the fourth quarter of 1951 be granted conditioned on their filing the State Gaming license number with the City Clerk. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Jarrett, Peccole and His Honor voting aye; noes, Commissioner Whipple. Commissioner Bunker passed his vote.
