I agree.NATHAN ADELSON HOSPICE FACTS ABOUT NATHAN ADELSON HOSPICE Last year we experienced a 31% increase in patients and families served. We now serve over 115 patients a day and nearly 100 people a month attend Bereavement Support Programs. In addition to serving more patients through our Home Care Program, we launched an extension program into nursing homes. Children have become a special focus for us this past year. We doubled the number of children that attended Camp Mariposa, a camp for kids who have experienced a loss. The In-Home Caregiver Program was developed this year to help patients that do not have someone to help with their care at home. The Nathan Adelson Hospice serves patients and families in need regardless of their race, religion, sex, disease, or ability to pay. While the majority of our patients are older than 65 years of age, we serve a growing population of infants, children, and younger adults who are in need of a compassionate, comfortable way to achieve quality of life during their final stage of life.
