approved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, it was RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing rider, C. L. D. No. 3695, dated June 18, 1941, extending to June 15, 1942, term of lease Audit No. 10122, dated March 18, 1941, expiring June 15, 1941, between Las Vegas Land and Water Company, Lessor, and Verne S. Adams, Lessee, covering the northerly 40 feet of Vegetable Shed No. 3, Los Angeles, California, to be used for the storing and handling of boxes; rental $15.00 per month, payable monthly in advance; subject to termination by Lessor on 15 days’ written notice; be, and the same is hereby, ratified, ap­proved and confirmed. On motion duly seconded, the following resolution was unanimously adopted: WHEREAS, by agreement, Audit No. 10062, dated Feb­ruary 17, 1940, Las Vegas Land and Water Company leased to B. Laustalot a portion of Union Pacific Tract No. 5, East Los Angeles, California, for agricultural purposes for term beginning March 1, 1940, and extending to March 1, 1943, at rental of $52.00 per month, payable monthly in advance; sub­ject to termination by either party upon thirty days’ writ­ten notice; and WHEREAS, said parties desire to amend said lease by decreasing the monthly rental therefor* THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the action of Vice President Strong in executing supplemental agreement, C.L.D. -24-
