Las Vegas, Nevada, Evening Review-Journal, November 29, 1941. Establishment of a. new policy on the- part of Las Vegas public utilities where service to FHA approved subdivisions is concerned, loomed as'the result of a meeting yesterday afternoon between representatives' of the chamber ofcommerce, the utilities; and subdividers. -The meeting was held in an effort to solve the utility problem as a basis' for demanding that OP1VE lift the 300 house priority which was placed un *bufidi$g here , last Wednesday, and after considerable discussion a tentative solution was worked out for submission to.. the executives of the utility companies. Immediately upon receipt of definite word of approval, the chamber of commerce proposes to carry the fight for lifting the priorities lid to Washington and Defense Plants Corporation from whence the recommendation originally came for the cut to 300. •o-
