Mr, C, J* Seitz - Omaha C* Perkins - Omaha E* Bennett - Los Angeles M* Bates - Los Angeles Referring to our letter date coceming sale of parcel of land in Bonanza Industrial District* las Vegas, Nevada, to Keenan Pipe and Supply Company as covered by Option Agreement CA No, 81108* dated August 20, 1953, which property is to he conveyed subject to pipe lines across the southeasterly corner of the sale parcel: One of the pipe lines is an 8-inch water line owned by las Vegas Land and Water Company which is to be conveyed to las Vegas Valley Water District* Pursuant to Paragraph (K), sub-paragraph (K-6)» page 7 of agreement with Water District, CLD No. 11342, LVLdSf Audit No. 10682, the Railroad Companies, or thetr successors in interest, are obligated to furnish to Water District an easement 15 feet in width for the water line which easement is identified as Easement Strip Six, page 7, in Exhibit "F", ettached to the agreement. As the easement encroaches upon southeasterly corner of the parcel we propose to convey to Keenan, our law Department deems it advisable that the Railroads grant LVL&WCo, (prior to the conveyance of the underlying land to Keean) an easement 15 feet in width for said pipe line between points JJ and Q. Accordingly, we are enclosing original and four extra copies of "N,,L.D* 2253-2, Grant of Easement by IA&SL-UPRRCo. to LVLSWCo. for said water pipe line a and appurtenances and recommend execution on behalf of the Railroads* Our law Department advises this document may be executed by the President or authorized Vice President of the Railroad Companies pursuant to Section 2, Article V of the IA4SL Bylaws, Section 5* Article V of the Union Pacific Bylaws and delegation of authority thereunder. It will be noted that the description contained in the attached document differs slightly from that contained in the agreement with the Water District. Subsequent to execution of agreement with the Water District, field survey developed that description of Easement Seven of Exhibit *Fn was incorrect and should be revised as set forth in the attached easement, which has been approved by the las Vegas Valley Water District.
