Las Vegas - April 21, 1953 z Ur, E. L. Adamson - Los Angeles f#i Mr. I. s« Bennett # Los Angeles In connection with Mr* Bennett’s request that I prepare a map showing the Subdivisions in the City of Las Vegas and adjacent territory, which may require water service from the Water Company hy virtue of their location within the city limits or through possible annexation thereto, I am transmitting herewith one copy of Preliminary Exhibit, dated April 20, 1953, which shows this information. In preparing this map, I have outlined in blue and numbered each of the Subdivisions which available information indicates^ Water service will be required either during the coming summer or within the immediate future* I am also attaching sheets, which have been numbered tc correspond with the numbers shown on the map, which indicate the status of the various Subdivisions listed. The information indicated on these numbered sheets was developed through a search of our files, contact with the Las Vegas City Planning Commission, contact with the Las Vegas Building Inspector’s Office, interviews with various Subdl VLders and Engineers who are concerned with these Subdivisions, and in one or two cases from newspaper article®. In making up this list, I have been concerned with only those Subdivisions which may require water service within the next year, although most of them will require water within a much shorter period of time. While these Jk sheets are concerned with new Subdivisions, which are either under way or proposed within the near future, we all realize that there will be a considerable amount of building construction take place on property located in areas other than in new
