Las Vegas - September 8, 1939 W 18-1-12 Mr. Will Wittwer, Las Vegas Ranch, Las Vegas, Nevada. Dear Will: Referring to our conversation a week or two ago with regard to the necessity for securing a supply of domestic water at the Ranch because the spring across the road from the ranch house had dried up. Since that time we have had John Frewalt drilling for water in a location across the road from the ranch house and indications are favorable to obtain-ing the desired flow in the forepart of the coming week. We could not secure permission to place a pipeline under the highway in this location and have therefore laid 400 ft. of 3-inch pipe down to the bridge and underneath it so the water will be available on the Ranch. At your convenience will you kindly arrange to connect to the end of this 3-inch line and pipe the water to the Ranch house or the dairy, whichever point you desire it, so the newly developed water will not be allowed to run to waste in Las Vegas Creek. Very truly yours, WALTER R. BRACKEN, Vice-President.
