Hay 19, 1948 w 23-1 Las Vegas Board of Education P. 0. Box 551 Las Vegas, Nevada Att'n: Mr. A. W. Blackman, Secretary Gentlemen: Confirming our conference a few days ago and referring to your letter May 10 regarding proposed relocation of athletic field# between 8th and loth Streets from Lewis to Clark: X bellere it would be to our mutual benefit and much more economical to leave the existing cast iron water mains in place. If you will ask your architect to notify ue when ready, we will lower the southerly 150 feet of pipe line in Blook 14, Pioneer Heights Addition, so he can complete his grading of this block. The life of cast iron is considered to be fifty years, but in the event this line should go out beyond repairs, we will arrange to abandon it in place and route our water lines in some other oonvenlent location. Trusting that this will be agreeable and assuring you of our cooperation at all times, X am, Very truly yours, LAS VEGAS LAND A WATER 00, 0y, General Manager
