BRACKEN, VlCE-PRES. and AGT., LAS VEGAS, NEV. CONFIDENTIAL. Mr. Walter R. Bracken, Las Vegas, Nevada. Dear Sir:- Referring to our conversation while you were in Los Angeles in regard to the platting and sale of lands outside the townsite. In discussion of the details with Mr. Calvin, the question arose as to the personnel of the organization who propose to handle this acreage. I informed him, in response to his inquiry, that it was your purpose to become a member of the Committee. He feels, and I think properly so, that this is inadvisable, by reason of your connection with the Las Vegas Band and Water Company. Is there any reason why the proposal cannot go through as planned in case you withdraw from connection with the proposed organization? I would like advice by return mail, as I will hold up the further submission of the matter until I hear from you. Yours truly, Los Angeles, February 28, 1921. m,
