WHEREAS, numerous oral requests have been made that these streets and portions of streets hereinafter described be improved; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas at a regular meeting thereof held on the 18th day of March, 1953, that the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to prepare and file with the City Clerk, plats, diagrams, plans of the work and the locality to be improved, together with the estimates of cost for constructing oil bound gravel pavement (4" Type 1 Subbase, 4" Type 2 Sub­base, Prime Coat, 2" A.C. Paving, Seal Coat and Chips), concrete curbs and gutters and concrete valley gutters wherever needed on the following described streets and portions of streets, to-wit: SIXTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard to the South right-of-way line of Garces Avenue, from the North right-of-way line of Garces Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Fremont Street, and from the North right-of- way line of Linden Avenue to the South property line of the Helldorado Village; SEVENTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard to the South right-of-way line of Garces Avenue, from the South right-of-way line of Brid-ger Avenue to the North right-of-way line of Carson Avenue, and from the North right-of- way line of Ogden Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue; EIGHT STREET from the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard to the North right-of- way line of Clark Avenue, from the North right-of-way line of Fremont Street to a point 100 feet North, and from the South right-of-way line of Mesquite Avenue to the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street; NINTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard to the North right-of-way line of Gass Avenue, from the South right-of-way line of Bonneville Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Fremont Street,from the North right-of-way line of Ogden Avenue to the South right-of- way line of Stewart Avenue, and from the North right-of-way line of Stewart Ave­nue to the South property line of Cashman Field; TENTH STREET from a point 100 feet North of the North right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue to the South property line of Cashman Field; ELEVENTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue to the South property line of the Kelso Turner Federal Housing, from the South right-of- way line of Bonanza Road to the South property line of Cashman Field; TWELFTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Stewart Avenue to the South property line of Kelso Turner Federal Housing; FIFTEENTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Fremont Street to the South right-of way line of Stewart Avenue; HOOVER AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard; GASS AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the North right-of-way line of Charleston Boulevard; GARCES AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Seventh Street to the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street; BONNEVILLE AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the East right-of- way line of Sixth Street, from the East right-of-way line of Seventh Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets; CLARK AVENUE from the West right-of-way line of Seventh Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets; LEWIS AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the East right-of-way line of Sixth Street, and from the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets; BRID-GER AVENUE and CARSON AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets; OGDEN AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the center line of the alley between Ninth and Tenth Streets, and from the East right-of-way line of Fourteenth Street to the East right-of-way line of Fifteenth Street; STEWART AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the center line of the alley North between Ninth and Tenth Streets; MESQUITE AVENUE from the West right-of-way line of Eighth Street to the East right-of-way line of Tenth Street, and from the West boundary of Fourteenth Street Addition to the West right-of-way line of Thirteenth Street; LINDEN AVENUE from the East right-of-way line of Fifth Street to the West right-of-way line of Sixth Street and from the East right-of-way line of Seventh Street to the East right-of-way line of Tenth Street; BONANZA ROAD from the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the East right-of-way line of Thirteenth Street North; WILSON AVENUE from the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street to the East boundary line of Stewart Addition to the City of Las Vegas; ENCANTO DRIVE from the North right-of-way line of McWil­liams Avenue to the West right-of-way line of Ninth Street; WALNUT AVENUE from the center line of Twenty-third Street to the West right-of-way line of Twenty Fifth Street. DYKE LANE from the North right-of-way line of Bonanza Road to a point 960 feet North. Motion seconded by Commissioner Peccole and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Peccole, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; Noes, none. Commissioner Bunker moved the following resolution authorizing the preparation of plats, diagrams and estimates of cost on Assessment District No. 100-19 be adopted: #397 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, certain streets and portions of streets in the City of Las Vegas are with­out adequate street improvements; and WHEREAS, numerous oral requests have been made that these streets and portions of streets hereinafter described be improved; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Las Vegas, at a regular meeting thereof held on the l8th day of March, 1953, that the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to prepare and file with the City Clerk, plats, diagrams, plans of the work and the locality to be improved, together with the estimates of cost for constructing and reconstructing drainage where necessary, minor repairs, patching and seal coat and chips wherever needed on the following described streets and portions of streets, to-wit: FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, and FOURTH STREETS, from the South right-of-way line of Gar­ces Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Bridger Avenue; SIXTH STREET from the North right-of-way line of Fremont Street to the North right-of-way line of Linden Avenue; SEVENTH STREET from the South right-of-way line of Garces Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Clark Avenue, from the North right-of-way line of Carson Ave­nue to the South right-of-way line of Fremont Street, from the North right-of-way ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 100-19 Resolution Maps & Costs to be Prepared
