Moss 2000 Fremont Street Las Vegas, Nevada Dear Sir: Referring to our conversation a few days ago concerning the installation of water mains to serve Moss Tract No. 3* La® Vegas, Nevada, To adequately serve the Tract, we estimate it will require the installation of 3120 LF of 6* cast iron water mains in location as indicated by solid blue line on the attached print. The estimated coat of constructing the water mains ia the aura of 111,960, which amount pursuant to Nevada Public Service Commission Rule 9* will be subject to refund. The City Authorities advise that it will be necessary to install four fire hydrants to provide adequate fire protection to the Subdivision, The estimated cost of con­structing 6" cast iron water lines to these hydrants la 1480.00 which amount is not subject to refund. In addition it will be necessary that you secure fro® the city at your own expense the four fire hydrants, the cost of which will likewise not be subject to refund, Each of the above estimates includes a contingency item of lOjl which la to cover any unforeseen increase in material and other cost. Our contract will provide, among other things, that you deposit the estimated cost of 112.440.00 and In the event actual cost of the work should be less than your deposit, the Water Company will refund to you such excess amount. In the event, however, that the actual coat should exceed the amount of your deposit, you will, upon receipt of bill, reimburse the Water Company for such additional cost.
