I talked with Mr.Grace yesterday at las Vegas concerning the lots which had been reserved by Mr.Whittemore and the others which had been bid in for him, and was informed that Mr. Whit temore had done this in the interest of the company so that they might have some lots at their disposal if any were needed, and that if the company did not need any of these lots he stood ready to take them off our hands, paying, as I understand it, the list price for all which he had reserved daring the private sale ahd the price named under the hammer for all those bid in during the auction sale.
