I agree.12/21/72 LIDO PRODUCER CHAMPION INNOVATOR LAS VEGAS?╟÷Never tell Lido producer Frank Senhes that something is impossible?╟÷he will literally go to the ends of the earth to prove you wrong. Sennes was told that it would be impossible to obtain a suitable lineup of superstars to headline at the Stardust Hotel prior to the opening of the Las Vegas resort in 1958, and he scoffed. The veteran impressario then set about to prove that he could come up with the top entertainment attraction ever to hit the nightclub scene. And he succeeded far beyond even his own wildest expectations. After surveying the lists of entertainers available to the nitery circuit, Sennes discarded them all and decided to create his own superstar. He spent several months finding suitable arguments against the words "impossible," "can't" and never" and then went to the Stardust management and informed them that he was ready to provide them with the most spectacular nightclub offering ever imagined, The bosses thought perhaps he had spent too much time in the hot desert sun, and other Las Vegas know-it-alls predicted the grandest "flop" in the history of this entertainment capital. ?√ß18-
