Lai Vegas * July 16, 195^ R 2 Mr. W. H. Johnson - Los Angeles eel Mr. R. L. Adamson This refers to your letter dated July 15, 195^* file ?33^» relative to Easement to be granted to the Railroad Company by Herman Wills in connection with spur track to serve V.M. & K. Transit Mix Company, Las Vegas, Nevada. I contacted V.M. & K. Company and was Informed that Mr. Herman Wills had not yet signed the lease you sent V.M. & K. Company for execution. Mr. Wills was contacted by phone by V.M. & K. Company afterwhich I called on him personally, and he brought up two or three matters that he wished to have settled before he signed the lease, which are as follows? 1. If proposed track to serve V.M. & K* Company is constructed in proposed location, Mr. Wills desires written advice from the Railroad Company that he will be permitted to spot an occasional car on the proposed trackage between the clearance point and right of way line in vicinity of proposed easement. 2 . Mr. Wills d e s i r e d advice as to the profile and status of construction of trackage indicated on Drawing S-639, dated May 17, which you furnished with your letter. Mr. Wills a p p a r e n t l y owns the lease parcel in question and is an employee of Young and Smith Company. While in Mr. Wills Office, I got Mr. Adamson on the phone and let Mr. Wills talk directly to him, afterwhich Mr. Wills told me Mr. Adamson was going to investigate the matter of spotting cars, as indicated in item one, and would also advise l§r. Wills as to the status of construction of the future track Indicated on the print. Mr. Wills is apparently willing to sign the Easement if the questions contained in items 1 and 2 are cleared up to hie satisfaction.
