^ mm^rn Mr. Donald Tuohy Nevada State Museum Carson City, Nevada Dear Don; 89701 H i In looking over the situation r the Wlnneinucca Caves Report, I see that I didn*t keep a "final copy*' with drawings, and it is with the latter that perhaps the real problem may be. It appears that I had crudely sketched some three or four pages of drawings showing weaving detail, which 1 asstime were more neatly done by Don Miller in ink. Apparently they were sent to me (see enclosed letter) for checking over, but, unfortunately, I didn't make a xerox copy of them. I see I didn't send off the good prints of the "Plates" (photographs) which I still have, and there are 23; they are 5"X7" in size. Also, a map was included in addition. At one point, I see I went over the manuscript, perhaps after it was sent to Phil, and made certain corrections; at any rate ray carbon is marked in certain places and I don't have another copy in which these corrections appear, except one that I had done a few years ago by a typist to clean up the copy in a "final" This latter constitutes 40 pages of typescript double /v;|l| ,, I will have it xeroxed before I send it off to you, which should be possible within a week (hopefully the xerox machine will be fixed by then). So it would seem that if you could get the copy I sent Phil, compare it with what I will be sending you and check the illustrations, you will have some idea where you are. In glancing over the manuscript, I see that there are no real conclusions, just ending with a summary and comparative data. The conclusions were to be incorporated with1$|§rPhil' s .
