Dr. 3.X.l .Bracken, Las Vegas, Nevada. Dear Sir*- I beg to acknowledge receipt of yours of the 20th. Mr.Greening called upon me Saturday and said he had arranged to go into partnership with you at Vegas in the handling of butcher business, hay, grain etc., and also spoke about getting a long lease on the ranch, and I told him we could not make any promises at this time, and that you had a lease that ra$n almost one year yet, and at the dnd of that time we oould p®bably give you a new lease, but could not make any definite promises. I would suggest that you let the matter stand just as it is for the present and before the end of the year bring the matter up and we will then see what we can do for you. I would judge that what you would want particularly would be the pasture; if we should, decide to do something else with the ranch house and orchards, we could probably arrange to let yon have the pastures; we will not rent it without giving you an opportunity. X thank you very much for your personal letter of the 13th and. am glad to inform you that 1 am getting along very nicely at present and hope soon to have my usual strength back again. I spent a short tine at the office today and hope to go up now every day for a little Very truly yours, while.
