n 80 acres o f land at Moapa March 21, 1905* Mr* J. Boss Clark, Vice President Bear S irs - Inclosed please find copy of le tte r from Mr* Waters reporting to the Chief Engineer the result of his investigations as to the supply and us© of water at Moapa. Subdivision S, at the top of page 3 of his * III letter, refers to the Pickett land o f eighty acres heretofore mentioned in your correspondence with me* As this is offered to us for $500., and appears to be a good water righ t, I believe i t w ill be advisable for us to take it . We might also, in order to increase the water supply at that place, take advantage of Cobb's o ffe r, although there seems to be some doubt as to whether he oan maintain his right. In addition to that it may be of value to adopt Mr* Waters' suggestion for sinking a w ell. Anyway there appears to be l i t t l e doubt of the wisdom o f acquiring the Pickett land and the water right connected therewith. Very sincerely yours, (Signed) T. B. GIBBON.
