(For publication Saturday, June 29th) (Las Vegas Evening Review-Journal ) I S E y m E S I T U A T I O N The Water Company wishes to express ifes appreciation to the people of Las Vegas for their cooperation during the month of June, in reducing waste of this essential commodity# Since the public was first informed in the Las Vegas Evening Review-Journal during the fore part of June, when excessive use of water first became apparent, the people of this city* realizing the seriousness of a lack of water during the hot summer months, have voluntarily cut down the water waste so that during the night hours we were able, with the assistance of the pump in railroad yards, to brina the water in the resereoir to a safe leifel# The supply of water flowing from the well and springs is sufficient for all requirements if the water is used only where actually needed, and not wasted* Please do not permit your hose to run out into the street, and if you have a leaky faueet or a water 'v-jlv.e that-cannot be properly closed, please have it fixed. It is exp ebbed that this emergency will exist for only about 90 days, and your continued cooperation during this period will avoid the necessity of strict regulation# LAS VEGAS LAUD AlTD WATER COMPANY
