Lear S ir* Supplementing our tender o f the 1st i n s t . , we wish to say th at we w i l l connect Concrete P ip e lin e made hy us w ith steel, pipe p r o je c tin g through dam at Vagas Springs and also connect cement pipe lin e w ith eighteen (18) inch wood stave pipe at i t s north end near Los Vagas road. W ill also fu rn ish one s p ec ia l cast T w ith tw elve (12) inch opening to he placed in our pipe lin e at or near the connec­tio n between the cement and wood pipe lin e . Cement pipe to he constructed to withstand a s ta tic head o f n in ety (90) f e e t throughout one p o rtio n o f the lin e - - approxim ately o n e-h a lf - - and a s t a t ic head o f s ix ty (60) fe e t throughout the remaining p ortion o f the lin e . We w i l l fu rn ish a guarantee running f o r one yea r, th at the pipe w i l l not lea k under the pressure named. I t is understood that the S a lt Lake R ailroad Co. is to fu rn ish g ra vel taken from th e ir g ra vel p it s at S e v e n ty -fiv e Cents (75^) p er cubic yard f . o . h . Los Vagas, also to fu rnish us cement at Three D o lla rs and S e v e n t y - C e n t s ($3.76>) per b a rre l f . o . b . Los Vagas; said cement to be o f a brand s a tis fa c ­to ry to our engineer. We are to screen g ra v e l and assume a l l fr e ig h t charges, other than fo r m a teria ls above mentioned; and also a l l tran s­portation charges f o r men employed on the work.
