Los Angeles - July 11, 19 4 5 Mr. B, H. Prater: Referring to your telegram A-9 0 of June l4th re: ordering materials for Las Vegas water facilities: Attached are the following: 1. Copy of our Reqn. 64-114, Sheets 1 to 10, inclusive, dated July 6, 19^5# listing materials required in construction of the revised project, which we propose to purchase under existing WPB Authority, Serial No. 10-1-9993, dated April 11, 19 4 5 . 2. List of pumps, motors and orltioal materials for which additional WPB Authority is required exclusive of reservoir, eleotrloal facilities and pole line. We have not included in the attaohed statement the 10 ,5 6 6 feet of 24“ C.I. pipe recently purchased, as General Purchasing Agent verbally advised that as we had purchased this material it would be unnecessary to include in the new application. As per telephone conversation date, it is understood that you will rough out a bill of material for the lumber and hardware far the reservoir (we understand priority not required for reinforoing steel) and will include in the WPB application, and that owing to pressure of work in your office we will arrange for design of the 1 ,500,000-gallon reservoir at this end. Further, as per recent conversation, you will add necessary materials far eleotrloal and pole line facilities. 3 . One set photostat prints of our work sheets listing various items of equipment, pipe fittings, eto., weight and estimated cost thereof, required exclusive of reservoir, electrical facilities and pole line. 4. Print of preliminary layout plan of proposed pump house and piping layout in vicinity of reservoir. We have inoluded in the attaohed list of materials one 6-ft. length of 36" O.I.P. outlet in wall of reservoir and a 36* to 24" C.I. Reducer.
