the provisions of Paragraphs IV and VI of the original Escrow Instructions as herein amended on July 1, 1954, because of the failure of the Las Vegas Valley Water District to comply with the provisions of said Escrow Instructions as herein amended, on or before July 1, 195^, the amendments to the original Escrow Instructions herein made shall be of no force or effect and shall be disregarded by you in carrying out the terms of said escrow.
