SERVICE & MATERIAL WARRANTS MINUTES PETITION FOR VACATION Wyoming Street VACATION OF 3RD STREET Public Hearing REZONING - Mayfair Tract #1 Patrick Dululio Public Hearing REZONING - Mayfair Tract #2 Fred Rushton Public Hearing R E Z O N IN G - Marycrest Subdivision Richard Toleno Public Hearing REZONING - Paradise Park Richard Toleno Public Hearing Commissioner Whipple moved that Service and Material Warrants Nos. 50861 to 5 0 8 7 8 in the total amount of $53,575.28 be approved and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Whipple moved the minutes of December 16, 21, 29 and 30, 1953 be approved by reference and the Mayor and Clerk authorized to sign same. Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. Commissioner Jarrett moved the petition for vacation of Wyoming Street from 5th Street east to 3rd Street be referred to the Planning Commission fir study and recommendation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent; Commissioner Sharp. This being the time set for the public hearing on the Vacation of 3rd Street between 5th and Oakey Boulevard, His Honor asked if there was anyone present who objected to this vacation. Mr. John Hahn appeared before the Board at this time protesting the approval of this vacation. Commissioner Bunker moved to continue the public hearing until such time as the report is back from the Planning Commission on the Wyoming Street Vacation. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commisioner Sharp. This being the time heretofore set for the public hearing on the application of Patrick Dululio to rezone Lot 32, Block 1, Mayfair Tract No. 1 from R-l to R-3, the matter was considered by the Board. His Honor asked if there were any objections to this rezoning. There were no objections voiced. Commissioner Bunker moved the recommendation of the Planning Commission be accepted and Lot 32, Block 1 of Mayfair Tract No. 1 be rezoned from R-l to R-3. Motion seconded by Commissioner Whipple and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. This being the time heretofore set for the public hearing on the application of Fred Rushton to rezone Lot 1, Block 8 , Mayfair Tract No. 2 from R-l to R-3 the matter was considered by the Board. His Honor asked if there were any objections to this rezoning. There were no objections voiced. Commissioner Whipple moved the recommendation of the Planning Commission be accepted and Lot 1, Block 8 of Mayfair Tract No. 2 be rezoned from R-l to R-3. Motion seconded by Commissioner Buner and caried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. This being the time heretofore set for the public hearing on the rezoning of Lots 1 to 15 and Lots 33 and 34 of Block F and Lots 18 and L9 of Block A, Marycrest Subdivision from R-l to R-2, the matter was considered by the Board. His Honor asked if there were any objections to this rezoning. There were no objections voiced. Commissioner Whipple moved the recommendation of the Planning Commission be accepted and Lots 1 to 15 and Lots 33 and 3 4 Block F and Lots 18 and 19, Block A of the Marycrest Subdivision be rezoned from R-l to R-2. Motion seconded by Commissioner Jarrett and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Absent: Commissioner Sharp. This being the time heretofore set for the public hearing on the application of Richard Toleno to rezone Lot 7 to 13, Block 1, Paradise Park from R-2 to R-4 and Lots 1 to 6, Block 1, Lots 16 to 19. Block 2 and Lots 16 to 1 9 , Block 3 of Paradise Park from R-2 to R-3, the matter was considered by the Board. His Honor asked if there were any objections to this rezoning. There were no objections voiced. Commissioner Whipple moved this public hearing be continued until January 20, 1954 Motion seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none Absent: Commissioner Sharp 1 -6 -5 4
