Theta Theta Omega Chapter Operation’s Report
Audit: The internal audit was conducted and reported at the January 2003 meeting. The committee chair will report at chapter meetings.
Awards: Chapter members and the Awards committee will be notified of the opportunity and deadline to submit for awards at the Regional Conference.
Budget and Finance: Recommendations will be presented to the Chapter to maintain sound financial procedures.
Constitution and Bylaws: They were updated to reflect the changes and presented at the January 2003 meeting. The committee chair will report at chapter meetings.
Graduate Advisor’s Task Force: I attended the first meeting of the semester on January 25,2003 at UNLV.
Membership: Attended the membership committee meeting January 21,2003.
Nominating Committee/Tellers: Activities included the Thelma Tyree Award and delegates for the Regional Conference.
Public Relations: Attended the meeting with the Chair after the January 2003 Sorority Meeting. Provided feedback for article submission to the Ivy Leaf.
Scholarship: Attended the Ronald McDonald House Charities scholarship meeting along with our Basileus. Our partnership with the Public Education Foundation will continue and include the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Our goal is to award $5000 with the matching funds it would total $10,000. The Mardi Gras Ball and Souvenir Journal must be successful endeavors. Correspondence disseminated to committee members on the meeting and forthcoming activities.
Standards: The Standards report was included in the end of the year report to the corporate office. Attended the January Standards committee.
Ways and Means: Attended the January Ways and Means Committee meeting.
Attended the Leadership meeting in preparation for the Chapter Operations Workshop and Executive Committee meeting. .
