    OWENS AVENUE Zoning PROPOSED ORDINANCES Parking Meter Sign Permit Standard Specs REZONING ORDINANCE No. 620 Adopted Specialty Plumbing Licenses GAMING APPLICATIONS 4th Qtr, renewals Commissioner Sharp moved that the Building Department be authorized to give the Las Vegas Gas Company a building permit for a warehouse. Seconded by Commissioner Bunker and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Committee members Jarrett and Sharp reported that they had not finished going over this proposed ordinance and requested more time. Commissioners Jarrett and Whipple stated Mr. Long and Mr. Hatfield were trying to consolidate the Sign and Billboard ordinances and requested this be held in abeyance The Committee reported favorably on this ordinance and said proposed ordinance was referred to the City Attorney for legal opinion Commissioners Bunker and Sharp reported favorably on this proposed ordinance, entitled "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION IV OF ORDINANCE NO. 378, REFERRED TO AS SECTION 10, CHAPTER .24, OF THE LAS VEGAS CITY CODE, 1949, BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP ADOPTED BY THE CITY OF LAS VEGAS, AND CHANGING THE ZONE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN AREAS ON THE SAID MAP. The City Clerk read the entire ordinance. Thereafter Commissioner Bunker moved this ordinance be adopted and numbered 620. Motion seconded by Commissioner Sharp and carried by the following vote: Commissioners Bunker, Jarrett, Sharp, Whipple and His Honor voting aye; noes, none. Committee members Bunker and Sharp requested more time on this proposed ordinance. Commissioner Whipple moved the following applications for renewal of gaming licenses for the fourth quarter of 1954 be approved in the same form and same condition as they were last quarter: GAMING APPLICATIONS A.
