Hike Here m A new, higher schedule of water rates in the city of Las I Vegas, will be filed with the Nevada Public Service com- I mission in the near future, it I was revealed this morning by William Reinhardt, vice presi­dent of the Las Vegas Land I and Water company. | Reinhardt said that advanc-i ing costs, taxes, increased maintenance and demands for expanded service had cut the net return down to an unsafe margin and that additional revenue would have to be forthcoming if the utility is to stay in business. The public service commis-sion will study th£ application upon receipt and after hear­ings, will make its decision.
