Halsted: Replying to your letter of May 28th, your Pile 174-2, relative to the above: As Industrial District No. 1 and, in fact, all of our railroad station ground at Las Vegas, is privately own­ed land of the Railroad Company, there is no necessity for procuring any extension of our present franchise, inasmuch as our certificate of public convenience and necessity Is­sued by the Public Service Commission covers all of the area within the city of Las Vegas, whieh is approximately two miles square, and our permit from the city of Las Vegas covers all of the streets and alleys. Blue prints should, however, be prepared showing the particular location of the 2,425 feet of water pipe line proposed to serve Industrial District No. 1, and the Rail­road Company should grant an easement to the Las Vegas Land and later Company, under such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon, of the right of way for such pipe lines. Inso­far as any franchise Is concerned, the Railroad Company is now in a position to turn over this pip© line to Las Vegas Land and Water Company. FRM-H F.R.
